WHO
IS FAMILY HOME PROVIDER, INC.?
Family Home Providers, Inc. (FHP) was founded in 1994. Research shows
that the down payment is the primary obstacle to family home ownership.
Many people, with steady employment and reasonably good credit, are
barred from the American Dream of owning their home simply because
they cannot save the money for the down payment on a home.
School, Medical emergencies, or just the simple
requirements of daily life make it impossible for some families
to save that all important down payment. That is where Family Home
Providers, Inc. comes in.
Since its creation, Family Home Providers,
Inc. has placed thousands of deserving families into their own homes.
Our
Mission
Founded in 1994, Family Home Providers, Inc., was created to help
the typical American family achieve their dream of homeownership.
Our goal is to see that any family, with good credit and steady employment,
can buy a home and live a better lifestyle, while building equity
for the future.
Family Home Providers, Inc., makes this process
as easy as possible, while protecting both the FHA loan insurance
fund and the buyer. It's a great program that is making a difference
in the lives of families.
Family Home Providers, Inc., is a non-profit, 501(c)3
affordable housing company. We are allowed under the guidelines
of the Federal Housing Administration to gift the down payment funds
to anyone qualifying for an FHA loan.
Our program opens up the opportunity for
homeownership to many families who, today, see a financial padlock
on the door to homeownership.
What is the Family Home Provider
Program and How Does it Work?
Family Home Providers, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c) 3, approved affordable
housing company. As a non-profit company, Family Home Providers, Inc.
is allowed, under FHA guidelines, to gift down payments to anyone
purchasing a home with a FHA loan. The down payment is a gift from
Family Home Providers, Inc., with no expectation of repayment, in
any form of money or services?EVER. By meeting a few, very simple
requirements, the buyer and seller can qualify for this program.
Under the program, Family Home Providers, Inc.
gifts 3%, or more, of the final contract sales price of the home
to the buyer as a down payment and wires these funds to the closing
agent 24 hours prior to closing. The buyer or the lender may then
fund the homeowner's insurance policy and set up the escrow account.
The seller or lender may fund the closing costs. This means that
a family can move into a new home, resale home, condo, or town home,
usually for less than $1000.00. There are no reserve requirements
other than the regular FHA guidelines. This opens up the opportunity
of homeownership to many families that could otherwise never purchase
a home. The program's few and simple requirements are quick and
easy. For our service, the seller/builder must pay Family Home Providers
a processing fee of (see current fees) or 1% of the of the final
sales contract price whichever is less, plus the gift given as the
down payment this will be the total Service Fee, for resale homes.
A processing fee of (see current fees) or 1% of the sales contract
price whichever is less plus the gift given as the down payment
this will be the total Service Fee, this is for new construction
only. The closing agent must wire this service fee to Family Home
Providers, Inc. immediately after the closing.
With help from Family Home Provider's Down Payment
Gift Program, real estate agents, and lenders, families previously
blocked from homeownership can now purchase their piece of the American
dream.
As an agent or mortgage broker, this program allows
you to earn more income, while greatly helping deserving families
realize the American Dream.
Family Home Providers has made the process simple
for the agent, lender, seller, and buyer. And, when all the requirements
are met, we can wire, within minutes, our down payment gift to the
closing agents trust account. All gift funds must be wired prior
to closing.
Our goal is to put worthy families into homes,
while delivering excellent service to everyone involved.
